About the Artists

Anthony Kearns, considered Ireland’s Foremost Tenor, is recognized around the globe for over a decade of extraordinary collaborative work with the PBS super-group, The Irish Tenors, with whom he still tours annually.  Their CDs have gone Gold, Platinum, and Double Platinum.  The Irish Tenors are in the top 3 highest-grossing clients for PBS, bringing in a whopping $10 million over the course of their lengthy collaboration.

In addition to his continued work with The Irish Tenors, Anthony has as thriving solo concert career.  October 2013, Kearns releases a new solo CD, focusing upon the wide repertoire presented during his solo concert tours.  Performing a concert repertoire which spans the spectrum brilliantly from Ireland to Broadway, from well-loved melodies to popular classics, and from light hearted comedy to the greatest tenor arias every written, Anthony does it all with class, style, assurance, and perfection. This CD is a brilliant compilation of that repertoire, interpreted by the man acclaimed as Ireland’s Finest Tenor.

Anthony is also increasingly in demand on international opera stages.  Anthony’s ever-increasing list of Opera credits includes: Don Giovanni’s Don Ottavio (Ireland), the lead in Faust (in both the US and Ireland), Carmen’s Don José (Ireland), Lucia di Lammermore’s Edgardo (US), Alfred in Die Fledermaus (US), Romeo for the Naples [Florida] Opera Company’s Romeo & Juliet: Then and Now, Gianni Schicci’s Rinuccio (Ireland), and Fenton in an Italian production of Falstaff.in Montepulciano, Italy. L’Elisir D’Amore with Gulfshore Opera, Naples FL and will reprieve the role with Lismore Opera , Lismore Ireland June 2017.

Anthony has sung with hundreds of the world’s best symphony orchestras, both with The Irish Tenors and during his solo concerts,  including opening the prestigious Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival in California, singing to an audience numbering 6,000 strong, with the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Frank Paul Fetta. Kearns also appeared in a highly successful PBS television special, Hallelujah Broadway with the Czech National Orchestra, touring with this production in the US and Ireland.

Anthony Kearns is a classically trained tenor with the incredible ability to flawlessly sing what audiences love to hear.   He is the consummate performer with universal appeal.  Anthony establishes immediate rapport with his audiences, dazzling them with a re-birth of music they have loved for years:  Broadway’s beautiful hits, the remarkable Lanza songbook, Viennese romance, Italian classics, and the lovely lilt of Ireland.  His astonishing talent lights up a stage; he enthralls crowds with the power and magnificence of his voice and his all-encompassing repertoire.   Bravos ring out all evening long at Anthony Kearns concerts and his audiences pull him back encore after encore.

Anthony is often invited to perform at prestigious events.  He presented a remarkable program at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library to celebrate the late President’s Irish roots.  In 2013 Anthony sang during several Presidential Inauguration Events, and later in the year for an audience with US President Obama and Ireland’s Prime Minister Kenny at the US Capitol, to name but a few.  Dedicated to the greater good, Anthony makes time to sing for many good causes and charities annually throughout Ireland and America, including Autism Awareness, music education, and US Veteran’s causes.
